One of the best things about staying at The Balcomo in summer: you never have to leave the pool deck to eat or drink. Poolside service runs through LOCAL Public Eatery from the moment the pool opens. Wave them down, call the restaurant, or order at the window — craft beer, wine, cocktails, and food delivered directly to your sun lounger while you look out over the 2-acre courtyard. It’s the kind of thing guests mention in every summer review.
For guests who prefer to cook, The Balcomo’s poolside BBQ area is available exclusively to hotel guests at no extra charge. Two gas grills, prep surfaces, utensils, ample seating, and no reservations required. Bring your groceries from the Penticton Farmers’ Market (10 minutes away), fire up the grill, and make an evening of it. The poolside terrace at The Balcomo is open seasonally from late May through to late September, 9AM–10PM daily.
